1 Thessalonians 2:8
Some things we just want to share. Like the way Randall Atchison captures hearts when his powerful hands dance across a Steinway Grand with classical Chopin and hymns of Amazing Grace. Oh, if others could feel the joy.
Or when David Tolley’s fingers ripple the keyboard like the river flowing through Laity Lodge. Or sharing Laity Lodge itself, the serene spiritual retreat center in the Texas hill country, to find peace of mind, peace of God, and peace with God.
And the joys of first love, like when Pat brought Jimmye to meet us for the first time, or when Sharra and Haley sent pictures of their newborn daughters. Then, the mission trips to distant lands that enriched the lives of people living in poverty; but we know the true enrichment is from the transformed lives of those providing it.
Yet sometimes we choose to keep things to ourselves. Perhaps we fear rejection if we share, or maybe we choose to keep secrets out of pride. But should we not share the greatest joy—the love and grace of Jesus Christ?
When we share, we add a companion to share the joy, but even more,
a companion to spread the message.
